White spot on hippo

Couple white spots on hippo. No new additions and no other fish have them. Has on one side. Still eats breathing normal. Acts normal. Don't think it is ich spots are too big.

I feed him pellets seaweed and mysis shrimp. He eats like a pig. Maybe I'll try more seaweed. The pellets have garlic in them.

Mine had something similar, I thought it looked like fight marks, I added some algae sheet more often seems to have helped can't say really i put the tank on auto feeder about same time, so he might had reaction to new feed, so I supplement more, it's gon so i don't know..i think min e was feed related but...

There like raised white dots. Almost like large specs of sand.

That definitely ich. My blue regal tang had it just like yours but with fewer spots before I put him in QT

Could just be sand stuck to his mucous coat, but it does look a lot like ich. See photo below for comparison.

Spots are gone today!! Must have been sand
