white spot on red solor wrasse female

i have seen this spot on the side of the jaw of my female wrasse for about 2 weeks. it sometimes gets smaller and sometimes a little bigger but it never goes away. it doesnt seem to be anything i have read about, can anyone help a newbie out. SHe is eating really well and swimming fine. i have her in my quarantine tank but am not sure what to do about it. she was in with 2 black photon clowns, 3 green chromis, 2 yellow tailed damsels, a pygmy angel, starry blenny, red scooter dragonet, lemon goby, firefish and a blue tang. All in a 90 gallon reef tank with a 20 gallon sump. Noone else shows anything and the rest are very healthy and well adjusted and eating fine. could it be an injury from hitting the cover when she gets spooked? she is very tame and i can handfeed her but she does freak out when i clean the tank. ALl parameters are good. any help would be appreciated

Very likely Lymphocystis, a common but relatively harmless virus. It will come & go for the rest of the fish's life. Usually "flares up" occur when the fish is stressed or immune system compromised. I've found soaking fish food in vitamin supplements (ex. Selcon, Zoecon, Vita-chem) helps expedite the "going away" process.

To clarify she probably had this when I got her as I've only had her about a month. I bought her from a reputable fish store that I trust. She has settled in remarkably well ever hiding from me during the day and eating from my hands every time I feed. She is the 3rd biggest fish in my tank and is not picked on that I can see.
