White spot on Tang eye

Hi all, after some advice re my tang. The eagle eyed among you will see a white dot in her eye. She only has one, the other eye is clear, she is very active at eats like a pig. Obviously i am concerned especially re either Ich or flukes. Ive seen Ich before in tropical fish, this spot looks bigger than the white spot i've seen before, so I'm thinking fluke? Its a reef tank, I dont yet have a quarantine tank. She darts around so fast, could she simply have caught herself on a rock? The other inhabitants all look fine. Should I wait to se what happens, or react now, if so how?

As usual any advice is greatly appreciated.

Does the spot seem to be on the surface or deeper down? If the former it could be a fluke, or just some random mucus. If deeper down, where the pupil is, it would be a cataract. More background information would help, click on the link below my name to see what info is helpful.

Hi thanks for the reply, I would say the spot is on the surface. Its literally appeared overnight. Its a 180ltr reef tank.

PH 8.2
Alkalinity 9
Salinity 35ppm
Temp 27 - 28C
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate 10 -15 (struggle a bit with this)
2 Mech filters 1 with Active Carbon
Protein skimmer
T5 Lights 1clear 1 blue

Tanks been running about 4 months, the tang has been in there since the cycle finished. All inhabitants are active and feeding, they are 2 x clowns, Royal Grammar, Mandarin Fish and the Tang.

I'm thinking about putting him through a fresh water dip, but I've never done this before, and don't want to put her through unnecessary stress. The symptom was only noticed today, so nothing has been tried so far.
