I see white spots come and go on my purple tang every once in awhile. Is it possible my fish live just fine with ich in the tank

It is possible, but we would need a picture to confirm. How long has this been going on for?

Months, I have pulled it out a couple times to treat but always comes back.

Zebrasoma tangs aren't overly succeptable to ich with proper tank husbandry and a healthy diet.

How did you treat the fish when you treated? Did you go fallow with the tank and treat all fish? If not that would be why you are seeing the reoccurrence.

No I couldn’t get my watchman goby out of the tank
