White spots in copper

Hello i saw some white spots in my purple tang amd a butterfly fish. The spots were not big for ich and not intense like velvet . I decided to do cupramine in my DT 220 gallon . After 6 days of copper i still see spots on those fishes . No other fishes has that symptoms all fishes are healthy except a chromis died without reason after adding copper.can anyone id ? I also had a hippo tang no symptoms on it.

Can't say whether it's ich or not, but did you measure the copper level?
With rock and sand it's going to absorb and reduce the level in the water

Yeah I test every day 2 times maintaining .45ppm

Continue copper treatment as these are mucus cones with ich mixed in. What copper product are you using and at what treatment level?
Copper takes 2-3 days to start working so treatment is just beginning.

I am on my 5th day on therapeutic level cupramine .45ppm

The therapuetic level is .5 but do Not exceed that
What are you using to measure copper level? Best would have been chelated form - coppersafe but youve started treatment already

I use hannah checker . The fish were little stressed at .5 so i reduced a tad low to .45

OK - be sure to maintain that level and add aeration with air stone as well as maintaining good water quality, in particular ammonia level

It looks bad today lot of other fish also got it . 7th day of cupramine

Please post pics of other fish. You really need to be at .5 treatment level or switch to coppersafe after doing a major water change and run at 2.25-2.5 coppersafe or copper power

Looks like ich development. Coppersafe best and must be maintained for a full 30 days with display tank fishless for 6-8 weeks
