White spots in Yellow Tang tail fin?

Good evening guys,

I have a yellow tang that has some white spots on its tail. The spots appeared about a month ago but are only located on the tail. None of the other fishes have anything similar to that. Im just hoping its not ich? Sorry about the quality of the pictures.

Could be bacterial infections caused by having its fins nipped at...but I wouldn't imagine that it wouldn't have had some sort of change over a month. My other suggestion would be Lymphocystis, which is a viral infection, non life threatening and really no cure other than maintaining pristine water and vitamin enriched food

Never found out what it was but after a couple of weeks from my original post the spots disappeared.

Did you just keep the parameters in check or did you use any thing that might've done the trick?
