White spots/lumps on mushroom coral?

Traded for this today. Is this a hitchiker, a bleached spot, or what? Almost florescent white.

Ive ard to tell on my phone but looks cabbage ir other leather growing with it

They're white discs (or maybe curled tubes?) The mushroom itself is only 2cm wide so it's really hard to tell!

Did you ever work out what this was and what was the outcome? I've just noticed this on my discoma mushroom today
