White spots on acan

Hi all!

I’ve had this acan for almost a year now, it’s put out some new heads, but it’s never looked fluffy and happy. Today when I fed it I noticed all of these white spots on it. I’ve read about a possible bacterial infection and use iodine dip to help it out. Thoughts?

More likely that they are mesenterial filaments. See if they go away on their own after a few hours.

If it's been there a while, I would hesitate to assume it's bacterial.

If im looking at right object- looks like sand, reason why I do not like placing most corals on sandbed as sand will irritate them.
Take a turkey Baster and GENTLY blow on them and see if the little things dislodge - They should

I forgot to mention I did blow on them with a turkey baster. They did not come off. As the coral settled down after feeding the spots are still there but wayy harder to notice

If you have nerite snails- could be snail eggs
