White spots on clown fish

Hey guys, I’m QT these clowns , today marked 30 days of copper, did one dose of kanaplex, going to do water change tomorrow and do second dose of kanaplex
Can anybody advise what this is plz
Only on one of the clowns ( large one)

Ate the clowns paired up well? Maroons often fight, and bunged up jaws are a common result.
Kanaplex is a good option, but it may take thee treatments to stop the infection and a couple of weeks for a full heal.

they were bickering at first but the bigger one took dominance , but what explains the white pimple on the dorsal fin?

Still could be a bite mark. Clowns are really sly about fighting when you are NOT in the room (grin).

That isn’t Brook or ich. Now, that doesn’t mean the fish won’t develop those issues, just not yet….

I hope , so my plan is to dose a second kanaplex , as I’m removing copper, then dose API GC twice 7 days apart…. Any thoughts?

That sounds good, but you might go 8 or 9 days apart for the GC

haha yes. i will spy at them for a little bit while they are fighting and when they notice me they are "what? you didnt see anything!"

No - I just meant 8 or 9 days between the first and second dose of GC.

UPDATE: clowns are doing well and eating very good. Finished second dose of kanaplex 2 days ago , started API GC today
Planing on dosing second API in 7 days then wait 2 days and transfer to display
Any thoughts?
