Hi everyone, I've just started my first saltwater aquarium and so far I just have a female and male clownfish. Recently I noticed that my female has two white spots on the same place on each side. Anyone know what it could be? The male doesn't have any at all. I'm still going through the cycling process with my tank my most recent test showed:
Ammonia: .25ppm
Nitrite: 2.0 ppm
Nitrate: 20ppm
I know I need to lower my nitrite levels before they get any lower, thinking about buying a water conditioner.

Let's wait for the fish disease guys show up. Here is some info with a video that you can checkout if that is the route they recommend. If it isn't no foul, you learned something new. :)

I did it for 5min, was heavily aerating the water with the opposite end of a gravel vac. At the 5 minute mark the fish turned super pale white so I put it back in the tank, pretty sure I almost killed it. The left face has what looks like some marks, but it's definitely different from the bumps it had earlier. The other side it appears to have completely disappeared. I'll check again tomorrow to see how it's doing. Thank you guys so much for the help, I'm a complete newbie at this and sometimes it's a bit overwhelming.
