White spots on clowns?

Hi today i have noticed white spots and bits of white on my clownfish any reason why. Ever since I used coral reef ab + I got diatoms back on my sand too could that be the cause? How do I treat do a water change? I get my saltwater from local fish stores could that of caused it.
