My damsel has a white spot on his tail. Has been acting a little scared and staying in one area but does eat! I noticed this 2 days ago and seems to still be on his tail. Attached is a picture let me know your thoughts. My levels are Good for PH, temp, and Ammonia. My nitrites are high, but they have been high for a while due to my tap water having nitrites in it (Recently Bought an RO/DI waiting for it to come in). Thank you for viewing!

Pic is a little blurry but could be lymphocystis which is a viral condition but may also be fin nipping.
What other fish are in the tank with it?

I can try to get a better picture in a few but I had one other Damsel with it a week ago, but he died (My thoughts are the damsel that is still alive got aggressive with him) water levels were normal, He came from the LFS with part of his tailfin missing.

other than the 1 Damsel I only have 3 Blue legged Hermits, and 2 Turbo Snails

Damsel Vs Damsel is quite typical and may have been the case

Here is a video hopefully it works!

Maybe the other damsel injured this ones tail before it died? I do see some minor Lymphocystis, but that will go away on its own. The wild card here is why did the first damsel die, and was it from something that this one might catch? I can't answer that.

I generally don't keep two damsels in the same small tank, they almost always fight (except schooling species).
