White spots on fins

Im at a loss here because I don't know what it is. Fish in DT and QT appear to have the same thing. As of right now, I only see it on the pectoral fins and one on a tail fin. There are "larger" white/cloudy white dots. Some are "long" some are just spots. Both Moorish idols currently have in the DT. A fairy wrasse and tang had it too. My regal in QT had one dot on the tail fin, but that appears to have gone away. No copper yet in the QT. I know it could be ICH, but I just don't know. Trying to post pics, but unsuccessful currently.

Please google Lymphocytosis in marine fish and compare it to what you're seeing on your fish.

I did, these "cotton" in appearance. I did think it could be. These are basically cloudy white in color.

Well, I just went through hundres of pictures (still can't get a good picture), I do think that's what it could be. What do I do if that's what it is?

Clean water, vitamins.... wait it out. It should clear on its own and as long as it's not interfering with the fish's breathing or eating it shouldn't be adversely effected.

It's the herpes/wart virus of the fish world!!

Lymphocystis:

Symptoms - Lymphocystis appears as a white or beige colored cauliflower-like growth that usually starts on the fins and spines and sometimes spreads to the body. Initially it may be small (looks like ich), and then grows in size (which is how you know it’s not ich). Lympho is a virus that many fish carry for life. Fortunately, it is rarely fatal or even harmful to the fish, and symptoms will come and go.

Treatment options - No known cure or treatment exists. However, feeding vitamin-enriched foods and maintaining pristine water conditions may expedite the “going away” process.
