My tank is about 8 to 9 months old, water parameters are all good. Everything seems to be healthy and happy, but recently i have noticed white specs on the rock. It looks like someone sprinkled salt on the rock in places. Also when just the blue led lights are on it looks like certain areas have something white showing up like a white crust?? I do not notice this with the whites reds and greens on. Anyone know what this could be?

Like those. Don't mind the algae please

I think I have them too, Spirorbis. They are tiny though...white, calcified C shaped tubes. They aren't out of control yet.

Old thread but did you figure out what those white spots are? I have the same thing. Look like sesame seeds
I too have these randomly around the rockwork. Any ideas?

Update: they are Nerite snail egg sacs!
