Is this anything to worry about? I've had this guy about a month and he seems really happy and growing and thriving.

Nope, not anything to worry about at all. Specking is common in this type of BTA and sometimes sellers charge more for it.

I've heard people say it's affected by light. I'm not sure. But mine are speckled with white and it can be seen in different places and different presentation.

That's good to know. I know white spots are usually a disease (on fish) so I wanted to be sure.

My whole tank is thriving and this guy is near the top as the most thriving. He's doubled in size since I got him and he's really bubbly/inflated. Seems very happy.

Some call it acid rain rbta and double the price. Mine moved down in the tank and the rose color came back..

No harm. This happens with bright lighting. Bubble-tips have a strong fluorescence that is most apparent under brighter lighting

Yeah I have an evo 13.5 with an AI prime 16 hd 10 inches off the surface. He's situated pretty much directly under it. He could move if he wanted to. He seems to like it.

Yep - that will do it. No harm as they can tolerate bright light. If they dont like intensity , they will move to a shaded area

Thanks for the info!

It's crazy how strong these lights are while not looking THAT bright to the eyes.

I need to rent a part meter.
