I noticed some spots on my teal zoas. Not sure what they are, can anyone tell me what these are and if they are bad how to get rid of them.

Do they brush off at all? I'm not exactly sure what those white spots are but being that the polyps look fine I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point. Definitely keep your eye on them though.

I haven't tried to brush them off. I will try when I get home from work

You might want to see if any of the stalks have white spots on them too. If so you might want to look into Zoa Pox.

Ok they do not brush off. Here is a picture of them closed up. Kinda looks like pox. I'm not sure if they r zoas or palys. I can't remember lol. So should I do the Furan-2 dip?

Looks like it could be white flatworms to me. Do they move around? Do you see them anywhere else?
No and I just looked really close at every thing. It's all of the teal ones not just that colony but other colonies of the teal ones. I don't see any spots on anything else

Well, I'm no expert, but if i had to bet i think id still go with flatworms, or it could be some kind of bacteria.

I'm going to see if I can get some in a cup like twilliard suggested to someone else with flatworms and add some peroxide. See what happens if it is flatworms I will need more help on what to do

There is a product you can buy tho kill flatworms, i can't remember the name.

They do not brush off. I just tried a toothbrush and it didn't move at all

They are Palys.

Before you intervene it would be nice to nail down an ID, it could be something benign. Are the Palys staying closed, eaten polyps???

An image with blues turned way down and whites up, step back and use the macro mode on the camera.

+1

Right this moment on my colony of common green Palys many have a single or some dual "pimples" on the whiskers similar to the first pic.. They do this from time to time.
