White spots on zoas

Hello, I came back from a week long vacation and noticed one of my zoa frags was closed. After doing tank maintenance the next couple days they opened back up but now have these white spots near the mouth. (Ignore the white spots near the stalk that's just sand grains)

Those spots look like it's part of the morph of the actual zoa. Nothing to worry about.

I expected to see zoa pox upon opening this thread but i concur with @DSC reef on morph of zooxanthalle. Likely due to parameters and/ or lighting.

I agree I think if the white spots were more on the stalk of the zoa and the actual polyp looked irritated there would be room for concern but it doesn’t look that way.

Thanks these are illuminati, hoping the colors will be restored cause white doesn't look good on them. Look kinda diseased but yeah other than the spots they look healthy and seem to be improving now that I'm back to care for the tank. My alk was sitting at 6.8 so been raising it a bit slowly over past few days
