White spots

Hey reefing fam! I just want to be sure, are the white spots on the glass (in the back) of my tank Spirorbid worms? they're hard to scrub off when Im cleaning the glass.. thanks in advance!

You can scrape them off pretty easy with the edge of an old credit card. Most people leave them as part of the clean up crew. Their numbers typically slow down as the tank matures. They only really become a problem if they start building up in the plumbing/filtration. Those are the areas I'd keep an eye on and remove them as necessary.

Ahh.. been wondering what those are. I never had them on my last tank, but yes I noticed them after my tank upgrade. Especially around the sump with black walls. Glad to see these go away as this new tank matures.
