White Squiggly Things

Any ideas on what these white squiggly things are on my return pump? There are several on my sump walls as well. None in the tank that I see. Thanks

Looks like detritus worms
Pics a little fuzzy to fully confirm
 
Are they hard and permanent. Most likely tube worms/ fans. I have thousands in my sump

Yes, they are hard and crumble when I try to slide them off. They do not seem to move so I do t know where they come from. I did think I saw a feather duster like fan coming out of one. It was very small and hard to see.

Yea, some kind of tube worm! Harmless filter feeders. As you can see can become numerous may clog pipes but as you can see I had for years with no issue
