White streak on abdomen

I've only had this fish 3 days now. I noticed today there's this white streak on his lower abdomen. Maybe it's just his colloration and I'm being paranoid but he also isn't eating. Only ate once since I got him (frozen mysis and brine). Just worried if this is a parasite? I haven't started copper yet since he's not eating.

That doesn't look like a parasite, too localized, but it could be a bacterial infection or a bruise. However, it is the fish not eating that is really serious.

It ate once, but then stopped? Did it eat soon after you first got it and now is not? That can mean something is wrong with the tank itself - what are the water quality parameters (especially ammonia)?

Thank you for replying. Ph is 8, sg 1.025, nh3 0.25 (I'm about to do 50% water change). He's unfortunately in an uncycled tank but I'm checking nh3 twice daily and doing 50% water changes when nh3 is 0.25. I had started a separate qt 2 weeks ago with one & only and I was hoping it would be cycled by the time the fish was shipped but its not. He ate about 24hrs after I got him and hasn't eaten since. He looks malnourished to me (got him on diver's den looks nothing like pic).

What test method are you using for ammonia? I'm concerned that the test may be reading low and the ammonia could be higher. Can you get some bottled bacteria to add to the tank?

I was thinking of even getting a small piece of live rock. Also do you think I should treat him for a bacteria infection? If so what do I use?
