Any idea what this could be just noticed it right now it wasn’t there earlier today.

No you’ll want to feed metro and focus together. Or general cure and focus. Prazi is for external parasites, you’re dealing with internal. Prazi is likely to have little impact on internal :)

How do i feed them with this

No to prazipro.

Yes to metro + focus in food

Thaw out some frozen food and mix in one scoop focus and one scoop metroplex. Feed this to all your fish for at least 10 days.

I feed frozen mysis and pellets do I just mix it with them and feed as regular

Take the mysis cubes or brick and microwave them. You need a tablespoon worth after they are thawed and strain some of the liquid off.

Add 1 measure of metro (or general cure) and focus to 1 tablespoon of thawed food. Keep in fridge. Use for 3-6 days. Then make new again. Treat for 14 days minimum. As long as you no longer see stringy poop at the 14 day mark you can stop adding meds.

14 days usually takes care of it. Rare cases may require 3 weeks.

How long do I have? Not sure if LFS close enough sells it and I will have to order and won’t be here until Wednesday the earliest
That will be fine. As soon as you can but it’s not typically an emergency.

Metronidazole treats internal protist/flagellate infections while prazi treats external and internal worms. Metronidazole likely does not treat internal worms.

^^ True, but both produce the same "white stringy poo" symptom. So, I food soak API General Cure because it contains both praziquantel and metronidazole. Best of both worlds. ;)

Well I have been dosing metro and focus every other day for about 2 weeks now and haven’t seen a thing and all fish are as happy as can be. Thanks for the help everyone.
