White string looking thing

Just noticed this on my palys,looks exactly like alfalfa sprouts, they’re all under the palys and wrapped around some of the paly “stems” as well.

Secondly, in the pic there is 1 sprout of aiptasia to the right, is aiptasia x the best way to get rid of it? I have no clue what brought it in to my tank…
