Wait. This same fish has rough looking fins. Could it be other things as well. I was reading the seachem website

From this particular picture I don’t see anything else wrong with the fish. I only see one nick on the bottom fin and he looks nice and plump.

Yeah, he looks fine to me. Just treat for internal parasites with recommended meds.

Agree. Feed for 10 days or so.

Someone please HELP! Not sure what kind of parasites or if it's even parasites. My fish get this grey like Pat he's on them and within 12 hours they are dead. I went to LFS and seem one of their fish was dying with the same thing, I asked the "specialist" there what was wrong with the fish and they said they didn't have a clue! Needless to say I will not being going back there. Is there anyone out there that knows what this could be? I done numerous water changes and treated my tank with general cure.

Grey Pat? If it's killing fish within hours I'd lean towards velvet. I'd recommend starting a new thread and posting some pictures if you can. Do you have a quarantine tank you can move remaining fish to for treatment?
