Hi - have another one that I am trying to assess in the DT.

These white “strings” are slowly propagating on to rock and increasing pressure n number (slowly) on a spa frag that I purchased.

They do not move, so thinking these are not worms. And snails have not touched them.

Any thoughts?

I think they might be snails that live in a tube. Get some Bumble Bee snails to keep them in check.

Likely tube worms which emit a fan to capture food for feeding.

I have never seen a fan coming from these white strings. I am hoping not vermatid snails, but not sure what else they might be…
