White stringy slime?

I added a mandarin goby to my system 2 days ago and now I’m noticing a bunch of stringy white slime in both mp40’s. It’s removable by hand but I’ve never seen it before? Wondering if it’s just the stress slime coat from the fish being acquainted to the new tank? No clue what do you guys think?

I cleaned it off I would describe it almost like spider web but stringy
