Can you put an arrow where you want people to look?
Almost looks like an anemone, but only about the size of a dime. And I only see this one in the tank.Looks like egg sacks of some sort
Got it online. It was dry and white when I got it.Was this 'live rock'? It does look like an anemone - like a bleached rock anemone. The id - depends on where you got the rock
Well - then its completely unclear - what it is. So you're saying you bought dry rock. It was flat/bare - and then this showed up?Yeah, it's dry rock.
Yeah, it was bare. I only have 2 clownfish and 10 cerith Snails. The "anemone" is only about the size of a dime.Well - then its completely unclear - what it is. So you're saying you bought dry rock. It was flat/bare - and then this showed up?
But as others have said - it looks like eggs of some sort - I'm not sure which of your fish would have caused those types of eggs - unless the magnification is extremely high on your photo
However I took some ocean water, like a cup of it and poured it into my tank. From the surf of NJ.Yeah, it was bare. I only have 2 clownfish and 10 cerith Snails. The "anemone" is only about the size of a dime.

Are you sure because it doesn't look like the picture you sent. It's like a circle, about the size of a dime. They are cerith snail eggs![]()
Nailed it, I was about to shout out snail eggs and then I saw your postThey are cerith snail eggs![]()

Now should I try to let them hatch or will my tank be over run with snails?Snail eggs, definitely.
Don’t worry dude you’ll be lucky if a few survive. That’s also a sign of good water quality imeNow should I try to let them hatch or will my tank be over run with snails?
Thanks. Thought I was dealing with some type of pest that might take my tank over. Like some weird anemone.Don’t worry dude you’ll be lucky if a few survive. That’s also a sign of good water quality ime
