My suspicion would be a baby Dorvilleid Polychaete worm especially since they are notorius travelers in the reef and do c
I think you’re right that it’s a spaghetti worm. They showed up this week after a large @reefcleaners order. Maybe John can comment too. I assumed they were good, thx for confirming! Its a spaghetti worm - leave it alone. Its a detritus eater. I actually recently posted a thread similar to this cause my tank is infested with them - they really do help
Spaghetti ?? Spahgetti worms are yellow-pink or red and segmented and Rarely move amongst tank and emit a large group of tentacles, Further , they dont climb glass and are stationery in the sandbed. Normally you won't see anything but a bunch of tentacles spreading out from a central point in the sandbed.
Closest would be cerith snail eggsOdd. I haven’t seen them move. Maybe they are in fact snail eggs then?! They’re def not those Dorvilleid Polychaete worms, look nothing like them up close.
If not eaten by fish then they likely will. At one point I had hundreds of small cerith snails that would cover my glass at night. That’s it!! I got 100 Ceriths from them and they look exactly like that. Thank you!!
(will they hatch?!)
