White stuff on frag

Im trying to figure out what this white stuff is on the frag plugs, it started on one coral and i now see it on 3.

Is it harmful to the coral?

No. They just filter feed. Supposedly if you have a large sponge and/or many of them and they die, they release toxins into the tank. But I’ve had sponges die and nothing bad happened.

I have these sponges but they've grown to like 6" long and are starting to take over. I've read that they can mess with you skin pretty good if you touch them though so I haven't done anything yet.
