Hi, I have a small colony of Eagle eyes zoas. I've noticed some white stuff on some of the polyps and was wondering what it could be and how to treat it?

Thanks for the help.

It's hard for me to tell, are the mouths of the polyps turning white?

The mouths are still purple but on some of them it goes to the edge of their mouths.

What are your water parameters?
SG
Calcium
Alkalinity

I'm in the middle of moving. Tank was moved on Monday. 2 days ago all the levels were good.
Salinity 1.023
PH 8.2
Calcium 420
Alk 8
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 30(doing WC tomorrow)

I would shoot for 1.025 on salinity. Nitrates do need to be reduced.

What brand of salt are you using?

My experience with eagle eye, is the mouths turn white when parameters swing.

Yeah I usually keep my salinity higher but with all of the moving into a new house I have been neglecting the tank a little. I use instant ocean salt. I'm hoping that they just got stressed from moving and that it is not a fungus or anything like that.
