White stuff taking over Zoa frag

Does anyone know what this white stringy stuff is that is taking over my zoa frag? Hoping I can salvage the frag by taking it out and scraping this white stuff off, but I've never seen this white stuff before and have no clue what it is. Thanks!

It is some sort of sponge like thing. Maybe try exposing to air for a little. I don't know if a dip would do anything but you could try.
