I added a white tail bristletooth to my 180 gal reef tank about a month ago. It is fine with most of the fish, but really hates my poor diamond goby. Poor guy can't even come out of his burrow for more than a minute at a time. Other tankmates include a powder brown tang, magnificent foxface, 4 various wrasses, a royal gramma, a cardinalfish, 2 firefish, 2 clownfish, and a longnose hawkfish.

Assuming I can catch the white - tailed goby hater, I will rehome it. My question is, would it be worth trying another white -tail or should I go with a different variety of bristletooth tang? I'd be ok with a kole or tomini, but I really love the white tail bristletooth. It has been a "holy grail" fish since I started in the hobby.

TIA,

Cindy

Tangs in this genus, Ctenochaetus, sometimes hate diamond gobies and also lawnmower type blennies. These tangs include white tail, Kole, Tomini, and others.
