Hello all,
are white tail bristletooths active? Most of my fish in my tank just swim still and barely move and I want something to really show off . To be out all the time. Are bristletooths out and active most of the time?

Bristletooth tangs are very active swimmers. They tend to be a little skittish, but they swim a lot all around the tank. They tend to stick to the rock and glass though as that's where they spend all day scraping away food

Alright im going to buy one then. Do you have a video of yours?

Mine is part of crew of tang (large yellow, small purple, small blue hippo). He seems to be second in command right now. He will swim out of his cave and graze the algae but will dash back when the yellow tang comes along. I think if he is the alpha tang he will be out more in the open. He pecks on algae on my glass sometimes and it's kind of hilarious to watch.

I don't have a video but im this full tank shot from like 2 months ago you can see him pecking away in the center of the image. They swim quite quickly in bursts between pecking which is hard to get a photo of.

Mine pretty much does this all day.
