White thing over regal angel fin

Sorry hopefully last question. Should I not just add acriflavine to the QT then? I'm guessing no since I only want to bathe them for an hour or so. I don't trust any heater I own to run without a controller unfortunately so trying to figure that out.

Right just do the dip.

I just did this, used water already at temp and just turned the heater way down and kept checking periodically. The light was on the whole time but it didn't get "too" warm, fish was fine.

You're in great hands here, I hope your fish heals up well!

Ok my plan is to use a little 1/4 gallon pan I have with tank water floated in the tank to keep temperature and airated by a second air pump. I think it should be ok but I'm worried about the dosing

If you are using rally, it's pretty hard to mess that up. You could do a 1/2 ounce and be fine i believe

It just says acriflavine I think it's the other one

I'm no good at math, but it's 1 teaspoon for 5 gallons. So you'd have to figure that out for the 1/4 gallon of water. Actually I'm realizing you said 1/4 gallon and my above suggestion for the rally might be over estimated a bit

Haha I mixed 1.25 g with 1/4 teaspoon and then just took a small portion of that

Off we go. So nervous.

His gills look a bit red from the photos. I typically did water changes at the first sight of any green.

It could just be the pictures on my phone.
