White things in sand

What are these white specks on my glass at the sand? They are moving and are all over the tank at the top of the sand

Have you added frags or live rock? The pods came in on those.

They come in on frags, really anything you add to the tank that comes from any other systems. They didn't just appear, they have been there for a while, breeding. It's just now they have made an appearance. Probably because you have food growing on the glass down low.
