Got a nice hellfire torch doing just fine, had it about 3 months now.
Had a look in the tank this morning as noticed some white soft tissue on the skeleton of the torch. Is this where its going to branch?

Is it a disease. Curious to know as it seems to be just fine.

It's a type of sponge that is fairly common in reef tanks. Harmless filter feeders. I think it's actually a sign that your tank is mature/maturing.

Definitely a type of sponge. Should not be a problem unless it starts over growing the torch tissue. You can always take it out of the tank and scrub it off with a toothbrush.
Thanks for the info
At least its nothing to worry about
