White tube in my gsp

Hi it's probably a stupid question but what is this white in the middle of my gsp?

Can you get a clearer picture? It kinda looks like a sea squirt but not positive from the picture.

ok thanks...i haven't seen anything coming out from that tube so it's probably dead or empty?

Nothing is in it. It intakes water from a mouth and expels it out the opening. Filter feeder.
