What is this white tube thing? I've been watching it for a week l. When I shine lights it retracts. I also see solids moving through the middle. It is sessile, and there are two. What is it?

I am not talking about the brittle stars and peanut worms, I am talking about the white tube thing that retracts into the rock

Talking about this! Not a peanut work or brittle star

I am no expert, but look up spaghetti worm. Loimia Medusa. The main difference is you have a single tube. I saw these in Hawaii and it peaked my interest.

Where is the thing you think is a peanut worm? I was thinking that the tube that retracts back into the rock is a peanut worm.
