White Vaseline like stuff forming!

Hello! I have a 30 gal with a pair of clownfish, and a yellow watchman goby, and a scooter blenny with 4 snails and two hermits. I use a skimmer and a filter. Its about two months in, and im starting to find some white cone vaseline like stuff forming on my powerhead and inside my hang on skimmer. I do not know what it is and i'll be happy to post a picture if needed. I get worried over this stuff quickly because im a bit of a perfectionist. I only need someone to classify what it is and i'll be on my way. Thanks

I'm pretty sure I see pineapple sponges, but it is hard to say for sure with that picture.

I would google pineapple sponge and see if the pictures that come up look like what you are seeing. If they are pineapple sponges, they are harmless and a sign that your tank is progressing.
