Will the presence of vinegar in the cuvette affect the result of a Hanna phosphate test?
When I am done using the checker I fill it with 3/4 RODI and fill to the top with vinegar to keep it clean. I then dump out a 1/4 of the liquid and shake vigorously and repeat untill empty. Then I fill it all the way with RODI and repeat the same process.
Also, I am using lanthanum chloride to cure my pukani rock. After a few doses the water seems to have a lot of precipitate in it. Will the presence of this precipitate alter the accuracy of the Hanna checker test?
(I figured yes and did a 100% RODI water change and ordered a 10 micron filter sock to do into from now on)
