white worm/grub looking organisms in fuge

What are those white glob looking things? they are only in the fuge, not in the main display. they seem to be attached to the plastic at one end. i havent seen them move. are they a problem? if so, how could i get rid of them?

They look like pineapple sponges. Good hitchhikers. Filter feeders.
