White worm on glass

I know it’s hard to see it but it is a white worm on my glass. I just recently had a flame Angel die out of nowhere and was wondering if this is the culprit? Or is it harmless?

I'm not exactly sure what kind of worm that is exactly, but I highly doubt that it had anything to do with the death of your fish.
