I woke up this morning to find my regal angel dead. Wasn't a total surprise to me cause the last few days it wasn't eating a lot & kept hiding. I did a FW dip on the corpse just to make sure it didn't have flukes. It shouldn't seeing I dosed twice with Prazi. Not sure how long it took for this to appear seeing I left the regal in the FW for a few hours before I checked on it. Found a large white worm squirming around in the bottom of the container. It's still alive and has been in the FW for 5 hours now. I took a pic of it to show you guys. In my 30+ years I've never seen anything like this. Could there be more in the DT? Keep in mind this fish has gone thru copper for 45 days & Prazi at least 3 times. I've had it for about 4 months & always ate good & acted normal.
Looking for any suggestions.

Wow, this is a new one to me.

@bios A quick Google search reveals metronidazole should treat this, as anisakis is a genus of nematodes. But then the possibility of a secondary (internal) infection appears high. :(

So it must of came out of its intestines. Like I stated earlier the regal suddenly died so I'm assuming that's what caused it's death. I had just done the second dose of a recent Prazi treatment a few days ago. All of my other fish are acting & feeding normal.
