Are these guys going to take over my tank? Should I be getting rid of them? Or getting a fish to eat them? Anything will help as I have no idea what this is.

I've seen these before. Aren't they just the little tube worms pre tube formation?

Indecision may or may not be my problem.
Do they have a hard outer coating or are they actually moving, white worm looking critters?
I'm sure there are a few wrasses out there that would gladly sample a few of them if not all of them if they are moving around like an actual worm!

Lol, they might sample the rest of the fish in the tank too hahaNot really sure what they are but I'm sure there are a few wrasses out there that would gladly sample a few of them if not all of them!

They first showed up in my canister with slugs now they are all over my rocks starting on the glass, they are small and only noticeable if you are looking for them but they are everywhere

Hermits will pick them off the rocks for the most part, only the biggest ones will large tubes (assuming they are tube worms) will survive a small army of reef hermits.
You can scrape them off the glass with an algae scraper or an old credit card. Use the card if its an acrylic tank. I use a stiff bristle toothbrush on tank equipment to get them off.

Ya I have scraped them off the glass a few times, I have about 20 hermits doing their janitorial duties, blue and red legs. They seem to be on strike right now

My flame shrimp picks at them but I'm sure it doesn't impact the overall population much. Right now in my tank they mostly stick to the underside and tight areas of my rocks. The don't grow on my glass or the back wall of my tank, but that may be the doing of my melanurus wrasse.
