White Worms

First of all I want to thank everyone that has helped me with my reef.

Please see my image. These worms are starting to over run my tank. Can you tell me what they are?
They look like tube worms but their casing is very soft. You can see them between the leathers.

Many posts about this same thing recently..... usually they are down low and/or underneath the Corals. .........the consensus has been it is a type of sponge. Just pull them out if they are unsightly.
 
I have read several threads on Spionid worms. And this is a different animal. Its more like a thick spider web. I have never seen anything come out of them. They look like tube worms just with very thin casing. I included another image. I circled the "pod?" that the worm is coming out of. Please help!!

Just to be clear: are we talking about actual worms? Or things that look like worms?
