I just got this fish from Dr Reef I put him in this acclimation box where his is now. I was just showing my wife when she noticed these white worms. I have never seen these until today. Does anyone know what they are?

Its likely some sort of detritus worm larvae and i see it as coincidence but I can say these are not of any danger and often emerge from either lack of filtration, lack of maintenance and overfeeding. Increasing siphoning will remove them and reducing feedings will starve them but one caution- If you starve them, prepare to siphon regularly as when they die off, they can release toxins (low level) so do also change or add high grade carbon to system.

Thanks I was worried they might have come off the fish. This is the first I have seen them so I'm not sure how many are in my tank. probably more than I think.

I emailed Dr Reef he mentioned they looked like NudiBranch. I had put some in my tank for Aiptaisa, could that be what they are.
