Guys, currently I just setup a 390 gallon tank. Which had been running for 3mths. After the tank cycled, i added 10 chromis, 2 clown fish, 2 firefish, 1 royalgramma, 1 pyramid angel, 1 blue tang, 1 yellow tang, 1 purple tang, 1 kole tang, 1 tomini tang. I know I been doing the mistake without going slow. But my LFS told me every new tank, it must gone through whitespot and velvet outbreak. How true is this?

Not true at all. You can keep these things out of your tank.
Unfortunately, velvet is a fast killer and you need to remove the fish and quarantine them. I have two quarantines set up now full of fish!

No but no reef safe medication has been proven effective. Copper and CP are your friend

LFS saying that is the same as one saying "every reef has to go through aefw and men pest". Beginers can benefit more feom qt since dealing with it after the fact is better left for experienced reefers.
