Or should I have asked “What am I?”
Today I had the pleasure of driving in the snow to visit a phenomenal in wall tank. It has run fo 20 years straight. Started with some sand and egg crate and now it’s only live rock and beautiful coral.
The owner wasn’t sure exactly what the pink things were. The guess was a shroom or cabbage leather.
His lighting is 10 years old. It was an array of Cree LED that put out a spectrum I suspect was 10,000K to 15,000k. They might look red or something under your lights. There was also giant green shrimps and hammers and frogspawn. If anyone wants to take a guess at them I’m all ears as I went home with a beautiful goody bag.
I believe the giant mushrooms I took home are rhodactus. In his tank they were a pale green-gold-tan-rose type coloration. Under the AI 16 Prime HD on a 18” gooseneck in the bottom of a 15” cube they are candy apple green, it’s insane. What I’m saying, is color might not be a good indicator of what the “pink” ones are.
The pink ones did not seem to have a mouth.

I suspect it’s a cabbage in low light:
Giant Mushrooms and torch: (any idea of potential value? Or are these Just boring beginner corals? I like them either wa
Hopefully my clowns host too.
Bonus silly shots.
It was an amazing treat to see his system. Euphyllia are some of my favorites. I plan to go back and rescue more of his “nuisance shrooms” and cover the sandbed with them on rubble. They’re the same color as a perfectly manicured lawn!
Wait, this is not the planted tank forum.

Ps. I think there’s errors. Phone wasn’t liking the forum. I’ll fix any later.
