Who dis and should I evict?

That’s Reggie, raised him since he was a little guy. Now he’s getting beefy, not sure if I should be concerned. Someone’s been irritating a few of my colonies here and their lately. Didn’t think it was my guy Reggie, but I have my suspicions.

Reggie is a chiton; these are beneficial, algae-grazing mollusks that comprise the class Polyplacophora. Smaller chitons occasionally hitchhike on live rock while larger species like Acanthopleura granulata (fuzzy chiton) are sometimes sold individually. These are differentiated from snails and slugs in the class Gastropoda as their shells are made of overlapping plates.

That’s good news then. I’ve really enjoyed watching him grow with this tank. I had concerns if he would become a problem, funny how attached you get to things when you watch a tank grow into maturity.
