Who else hates the time change?

I got up this morning an hour late..... or so I thought. I remembered it was that time of the year again, the one I hate. My tank is semi automated, I don't have a fancy apex or any other controller, just a bunch of timers that run various things. I've spent the last hour gathering all the timers (14 between 2 tanks) and setting them ahead an hour, then dosing extra to make up for what was missed. And my OCD, I have to have them within a few seconds of each other or it will bug me. My fish are confused since the lights are on now, looking at me asking why are you getting us up so early?
Who else hates the time change?

I hate it, not because of my system as everything is automated, I just wish they would stick with DST year round, as I love the longer light period in the afternoons.

I always wondered why not split it down the middle and leave it year round. I don’t bother to change my timers, controller and dosing pump. I do agree it is a pain.

Florida did pass a bill but it was shot down by Congress since Florida was the only eastern time zone to do it. 6 months out of the year we would be an hour ahead of everybody else. It would be quite the nightmare.
On a side note I did find 2 more timers I had to change. $450 for 2gyre pumps and a smart controller and you still have to change the time. Not so smart if you ask me. Maybe the 300 series will be smarter. I'll find out in a couple of days.

Daylight savings time changes are always a reminder to me that humans have a very poor conception of time. We have to control it or we feel inferior. Making graduated measurement scales is the best we can do. None of us really understands the passage of a moment.
