Who had a gyre fx 230 ?

Thinking of picking this pump up next weekend. How so you guys like it ? Noisy ? What size tank are they in ? I have standard 150 tank.

I have an older 150 without the fancy controls of the new model and love it. I heard horrible things about cleaning it, and it is a real pain, so I rarely do, but it keeps on chugging like a champ. I am the third owner, and it's held up great. The flow is really impressive.

Flow is impressive but I found I needed to clean it often. Cleaning wasn’t really a pain but it has a lot of parts. It was also louder than I like except at low speeds.
